Terms of Service & Scope of Work Agreement
Niki Wikstrom, MA – Integrative Mental Health Consulting

1. Professional Designation and Scope of Practice

Niki Wikstrom holds a Master of Arts in Integrative Psychology and provides holistic mental health consulting and wellness education services. She is not a licensed psychotherapist in the state of California or any other jurisdiction and does not provide licensed psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment of mental health disorders.

As a holistic consultant, her services include:

• Mind-body wellness education

• Nervous system and stress regulation guidance

• Somatic awareness and embodiment tools

• Trauma-informed personal development coaching

• Integrative approaches to emotional health and lifestyle support

All services are educational and supportive in nature and are not intended as a substitute for licensed psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment.

2. Legal Disclosures

• Niki Wikstrom is not licensed by the State of California as a medical or mental health provider.

• Consulting sessions are for personal insight, education, and self-awareness purposes only.

• Clients experiencing active mental health crises or conditions requiring clinical diagnosis or intervention are advised to seek support from a licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist.

• Services rendered do not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders and are not covered by health insurance.

3. Fees and Session Structure

• Initial Intake Session: $175 per 60-minute session

• Ongoing Consulting Sessions: $225 per 60-minute session

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment may be made via [insert accepted methods: credit card, Venmo, PayPal, etc.].

There is no sliding scale at this time. Services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to the full session fee.

5. Confidentiality

All information shared in sessions is kept confidential, except in cases where:

• The client expresses intent to harm themselves or others

• Abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult is disclosed

• Disclosure is required by a court of law

As an unlicensed consultant, Niki Wikstrom is not bound by HIPAA, but she makes every reasonable effort to protect client privacy and uses secure platforms for communication.

6. Consent and Responsibility

By initiating services, the client affirms that they:

• Understand these services are not a replacement for therapy or medical care

• Take full responsibility for their own health and wellbeing

• Are participating voluntarily and can discontinue services at any time

7. Jurisdiction and Complaints

As an unlicensed consultant, Niki Wikstrom’s services are not regulated by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Disputes, if any, shall be handled in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

By scheduling and/or participating in services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above.
